Dear Friends,
This is Gandhi (Srikanth). First appreciate and thanks to our friends to created such a excellent blog for our Quarry friends. Especially Saravanan and Karthi for their thought to bring our Q friends in one blog. Good work and keep it up!
Sorry, I was unable to post my message for a long time since this blog is started. I am very glad to see our friends here. As Saravanan said in his first message, we can't forget our childhood memories. Especially in Quarry. Its a unique experience for all of us in that time. I doubt no one else might experience the same. I remember the first (may be second?) generation cricket we played in front of Ram's house with home made bat. Most of the times, we meet at Ram's house then decide what to do :-) (Ram always have some game to play like Trade, Chinese checker, cards, etc). One more interesting thing was "Oliyum Oliyum" in Doordharsan TV in between Friday Cinema. I never forget the cricket games we played in Quarry and surrounding areas. Especially, the running commentary! And other unforgettable memories like Club house, Dormitory cards, Friday Cinema, fishing, hunting (with Viji, Senthil & Paulraj), Bike trips during Pongal to near villages and sooooo on. We can't explain everything in words.
It is really a good feeling to see our friend's messages and family photos in one blog. Keep up the good work Saravanan and Karthi!!!
Love
Gandhi
